Rio's Stud Service - Rio has proven himself as a capable stud, producing robust, perfect pups.  Rio has a gorgeous strawberry blond coat with red ears and  a platinum feathered undercoat and tail.  He is ninety pounds of excellent conformation according to goldendoodle breed standards.  His pups are healthy, and range in color from milk chocolate, to strawberry blond, to platinum vanilla with beautiful curly, Teddy bear coats.  He is a patient and gentle suitor for prospective matrons, mating regularly once or twice a day during her viable period.  We can accommodate guest females for breeding or we can ship refrigerated sperm at the appropriate time.  Sperm comes with lab confirmation that the sperm is viable.  The stud service cost is $850.00 per female per season including boarding of the female or shipping of the sperm.  Contact us a month or two before you expect your female to be in season so we can arrange the most productive circumstances for breeding.


We are proud to announce that Rio has just passed his OFA testing which certifies that he is an excellent choice to pass on his excellent blood lines to future generations of goldendoodles.
  		 



 

 We have F1b pups born  August 23, 2010. Five boys and 2 girls all black with white markings on chest and paws.  Likely to turn silver by 4 weeks. Blonde F1 pups arrived on Aug. 26, 2010: 3 girls and 2 boys, platinum blonde and one red.  Call us at 575-751-0191 to visit Taos Dood Ranch.


As the Obama's were deciding on a puppy we sent them a letter regarding our pups. Although they ended up chosing a Portuguese water dog, Michelle Obama was kind enough to reespond.
