I truly am a standard poodle lover.  They are so smart, and so clean, and so loyal and loving. They are beautiful to watch as they run and cavort. They are very healthy and do not have the problems of the toy and miniature varieties.  However, poodles require more grooming than golden doodles.  They also are a bit more high strung and require more human attention.  Also, many people have an aversion to  poodles based on the show cut that is seen in professional dog shows.  Golden doodles have a true dog's good looks.  Their color is golden to ruddy.  Their coats are soft, wavy and luxurious.  Their heads are large and hansome accentuated with big black eyes that shine with love and intelligence.  And, of course they have  the cleanliness and hypoallergenic qualities of their poodle ancestors.
