Do golden doodles take special care as poodles do?
Answer
Golden doodles are the most easy going and carefree dogs we have ever owned. They only need to be groomed 2 or 3 times a year to thin their undercoat. We usually do that at the end of winter and again in the middle of summer. They eat straight Purina dog kibbles with excellent growth, health and digestive results. They are easy to train for indoor manners, obedience, agility and especially search and rescue. They are very sociable, but also content to be left by themselves for several hours at a time. They are gentle with children and never aggressive or vicious. They are easy pets and great ranch hand dogs. They love to work as well as play.

As the Obama's were deciding on a puppy we sent them a letter regarding our pups. Although they ended up chosing a Portuguese water dog, Michelle Obama was kind enough to reespond. |
