A beautiful girl named Shasta has come to live with us at Taos Dood Ranch and will give us fabulous F1b blonde puppies.  She is light honey blonde, almost platinum, with flowing ears and tail.  We will know by Feb. 2 if she is pregnant with Beau's puppies.  Beau has become an AKC show dog now living at Hell Creek Kennels in Stratton, Colorado and working on his show ring routine with our colleague and expert trainer, Dawn Craig.  Beau, who weighs only 11 pounds, has become a very successful stud with miniature poodles and cocker spaniels, siring wonderful show quality miniature poodles and adorable miniature cockapoos.  He has a pedigree any poodle breeder would envy.  Beau has a full, rich, cream colored coat and apricot ears.  His pups are as beautiful as he is.

Shasta will bear her first litter of miniature golden doodles and the first litter of mini-doodles born at Taos Dood Ranch.  She comes from wonderful poodle and golden retriever bloodlines, noticeable in her excellent hips joints and bone structure which were tested before she was bred to Beau.  We hope to have beautiful blonde babies that will weigh about 20 pounds full grown.  Unfortunately, Shasta is not pregnant as we had hoped.  Bust she is young, and we will try again for Mini-doodle puppies next time.
